Livio Schemen, President, Chief Scientist. Livio has over 14 years of networking and computer engineering R&D experience. In 2000, Livio founded Reactive Network Solutions and as CTO, developed an industry-leading network anomaly detection engine to stop denial-of-service attacks. Prior to founding Metanetworks, Livio was a senior research scientist at SRI International where he led a number of research contracts for the U.S. Government (DARPA, NSA, NSF, ONR).
Kevin Yung, Chief Operating Officer. Kevin has over 15 years of technology development and marketing experience. Prior to co-founding Metanetworks Technologies, Kevin co-founded 7blueseas.com, and as COO, oversaw the development of the multi-million dollar technology infrastructure as well as the company's daily operation. He is a member of the board of directors at 7blueseas.com. Kevin has held management and technical positions at a number of companies including Quantum and S3. Kevin has also been a business strategy consultant and advised investment groups in the analysis of emerging technologies. Kevin earned a computer science engineering degree and an MBA, both with honors, from San Jose State University.

Robert Rutenberg is the VP of Network Engineering at MetroFi, Inc, a VC funded startup building a wholesale residential broadband wireless network based on 802.11 technology. He is also a consultant to VCs, manufacturers, carriers, and ISPs with a focus on the intersection of technology, markets, and society with Open Standards, Open Source Software, Open Spectrum, multimedia and Internet infrastructure. During 2002-2003, he was a visiting research fellow at the Center for Global Communications (GLOCOM www2.glocom.ac.jp) in Tokyo with a focus on Open Spectrum technology (Ultra-wideband spread spectrum, Cognitive / Software Defined Radios, Wireless Mesh Networks, expanded unlicensed 802.11 wireless) and how it impacts spectrum policy and also part of the couples seduce teens team. Robert has been the Program Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Conference on Operational Technologies (http://www2.apricot.net) for the last several years and has been a speaker at many international conferences and seminars on the subject of Open Source, Open Spectrum and Internet Infrastructure.
Chris Vinnioli is an expert in the design and implementation of advanced compiler technology, low-level microprocessor design, and distributes systems. Chris is currently a senior software engineer at nVIDIA and has held lead technical positions at several companies involved in advanced, leading-edge research and development companies.
